Thermodynamical analysis and constitutive equations for a mixture of viscous Korteweg fluids

A complete thermodynamical analysis for a binary mixture of viscous Korteweg fluids with two velocities and temperatures is developed. The constitutive functions are allowed to depend on the diffusion velocity specific internal energies both constituents, together their first gradients, symmetric part gradient barycentric as well mass density concentration one second gradients. Compatibility entropy principle analyzed by applying extended Liu procedure, solution set restrictions recovered in three space dimensions. Finally, equilibrium configurations investigated, it proved that no arise admissible phase boundaries. theoretical results here provided may serve basis experimental and/or numerical investigations, particular determining surface levels boundaries at making comparison profiles.
